🎙️ Topic | Empowering People with Disabilities through Sexuality
🗣️ Speaker | Chi-Wei Cheng, Director of Social Work, Taiwan Tongzhi (LGBTQ+) Hotline Association
📖 Talk Introduction
In a society where bodies are regulated and desires are suppressed,
“sexuality” for people with disabilities is not just a physical matter—it is tied to dignity and existence.
Drawing from his practical experience with the Taiwan LGBTQ+ Hotline and Hand Angels,
Chi-Wei Cheng will share how people with disabilities can, through the practice of sexuality, reclaim their bodies, emotions, and relationships.
He invites us to reflect:
When society is willing to acknowledge the desires of people with disabilities,
can our imagination of humanity and equality also expand?
